Los Dias de los Muertos
Los Dias de los Muertos (the Mexican holiday "Day of the Dead") are a series of special days that make the Mexican Day of the Dead one of the most sacred Mexican national holidays. Beginning on October 31 in the Mexican holidays tradition and ending on November 2, the Day of the Dead in Mexico is a long and vibrant celebration of Day of the Dead art, such as Day of the Dead figurine or a Day of the Dead skeleton, Day of the Dead food and Day of the Dead treats that are offered to the dead in celebration of their past lives. During the Day of the Dead celebration, relatives clean and decorate the grave site alters of deceased family members out of respect for departed loved ones. The dead are customarily offered bread dubbed "Pan de Muertos" and given fruits and wines to suffice for a year to come.
